Microsoft has just released a dark mode for looking interface, and users can easily see it when they enabled the dark theme on Windows 10.
Specifically, should you configured Windows 10 to use the dark mode, then your search UI should now change to the dark theme mode, thus enabling a more consistent visual approach across the entire operating-system.
Worthwhile to learn, however, is this fact feature happens to be readily available for insiders only, and users in the Dev channel are becoming it today.
Only accessible for insiders right now
The brand new interface is enabled having a server-side switch, which means you don't have to do anything, as Microsoft activates the dark mode on its side and then sends it for your devices.
"For Insiders who've their system theme set to dark, we are introducing dark theme search engine results for that Windows 10 search experience around the taskbar. This server-side change has created to any or all Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. This change can make the transition between Start and check results easier on the eyes since both support dark theme. Tell us what you think!" Microsoft announced today.
Obviously, there's no ETA as to once the new visual update could land for production devices, but given the feature is already area of the Insider program, it shouldn't take too much time before it happens.
The good thing is that users don't need to wait for a new feature update for the dark mode to go live on their devices, as the same approach in terms of insiders is going to be used for production devices too. So Microsoft will just let the new search facelift having a server-side switch for everybody on Windows 10, only that the whole thing may happen once the tests are complete.
